Safeguarding Policy

The need to provide effective safeguarding
is a fundamental concern to the Trust.

In terms of our regular operations, we are committed to making diligent
enquiries when grants are provided for national and overseas charitable purposes to
seek to establish proper protection where recipients may be in any way at risk. In
this country we require that the correct standards are provided to any donnees,
whether direct or indirect.

The Trustees recognise that they have a duty to be alert to any safeguarding
risks to themselves or any others with whom, as trustees, they are in contact.
To this end, we regularly review our policy and any further guidelines
from the Charity Commission.
We also make a written record of any incidents and note any relevant
authority to which such incidents have been reported.
